Updated on December 1st, 2024
At IntimApp, we place the utmost importance on confidentiality and the protection of your personal data.

This Privacy Policy outlines the information we collect, how we use it, and the options available to Users (also referred to as “You,” “Your,” or the “User”) to manage Your data. By using IntimApp, You agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
As part of your use of the IntimApp application, we collect various categories of personal data to provide you with a personalized and optimal experience. This data is collected directly, indirectly, or automatically, in strict compliance with applicable laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as “GDPR”).
We place particular importance on justifying why this data is collected and how it contributes to the overall experience. These details are outlined below:
1.1 What Do We Mean by Personal Data?
Personal data refers to any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly. This may include references to:
- Identifiers: Name, first name, email address, phone number, etc.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates, IP address.
- Online Identifiers: Pseudonyms, application identifiers, cookies.
- Specific Elements: Age, gender, personal preferences, or any information related to a physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural, or social identity.
1.2 Types of Data Collected
To provide our services and ensure an optimal user experience on IntimApp, we collect the following data:
- Username/Nickname: Used to personalize your account and allow other users to search for and add you as a friend.
- Email Address: Used for login purposes, password recovery, and the delivery of important notifications and communications.
Other information may also be provided by the User while using the Application:
- Profile Picture: Allows you to personalize your profile and visually identify your account to your friends or contacts.
- SweetSpots: At the core of the Application, these allow Users to record the locations of their daily intimate moments. This information includes geolocation, a description, a rating, an emoji, and a duration. These details are used to calculate statistics visible on the profile page and to map out intimate moments.
Automatically Collected Data
While using the Application, certain data is collected automatically to enhance the user experience:
- Usage Statistics: Frequency of use, preferences, features used, last login, and interactions with offered content.
- Technical Data: Device model, operating system, unique identifier, country, and language used.
- SweetSpot Statistics: For each new SweetSpot created by You, statistics are automatically calculated, stored, and displayed on your profile. These include the total number of SweetSpots recorded by a User, the average duration of SweetSpots, the total duration of all SweetSpots recorded by the User, the average SweetSpot rating, and the average number of SweetSpots per day. These statistics are accessible from the profile page of each User.
- Countries: A list of countries where you have recorded SweetSpots is also stored in relation to your account. This country list is used for statistics and is available on the Users’ profile page.
- Friends: The list of friends you add is also stored and used to filter the display of SweetSpots on the interactive map. If You decide to remove a friend, this data will no longer be stored, as we exclusively retain your current list of friends.
This information helps us maintain and optimize the Application by identifying user behaviors to better meet their needs.
Security-Related Data
- Blocked Accounts: To enhance Your security while using IntimApp, You can block other Users to stop sharing your SweetSpots, statistics, and public profile information with them. You can view Your list of blocked accounts at any time from the settings page.
- Statistics Sharing: You have the option to prevent your statistics from being shared with friends. In all cases, these statistics are never shared with Users who are not friends with You, unless You have activated the option to accept every friend in the Settings.
