- textual content generated from those files, such as transcriptions;

A significant portion of the data related to your use of Voxcript is stored locally on your device, including:
- recorded or imported audio files;
- transcriptions;
- translations;
- certain settings or information necessary for the proper functioning of the Application.

- OpenAI: We use OpenAI’s services to perform certain transcription and translation features. In this context, audio files and/or text content may be transmitted via our backend solely for the purpose of processing the User’s request. We also use cloud infrastructure to securely receive certain data necessary for handling transcription and translation requests.
- Advertising via Google AdMob: Voxcript integrates ads provided by Google AdMob. These ads may collect non-personal information such as your device type, operating system, interactions with ads, and your approximate geographic location in order to deliver targeted advertisements. This information is used by Google AdMob to provide personalized ads tailored to your interests.
- In-App Purchases via RevenueCat: No banking or payment data relating to transactions is collected by Voxcript. This data is exclusively collected and processed by the App Store or Play Store via RevenueCat, which allows verification and facilitation of your purchases.
1.3 Use of Access Permissions
The use of the Application may require the following permissions, only after obtaining your explicit consent:
- Microphone: the User may record their voice using their device’s microphone in order to use the main features of Voxcript. More specifically, Voxcript requires access to the microphone to record audio and provide transcription and translation services.
- Files / media / device storage: in order to allow the import of audio files from the User’s device, as well as the local storage of certain content generated or exported by the Application.
2. Use of Collected Data
We use the data collected to provide, improve, and personalize Voxcript’s services. This data is processed in accordance with the GDPR and any other applicable regulations. The purposes and uses of your data include:
2.1 Service Analysis and Optimization
- Understand your preferences: Data related to the features you use and your frequency of use helps us identify what you enjoy and improve the Application.
- Fix bugs and improve technical performance: Technical data (device model, encountered errors, etc.) is analyzed to ensure a smooth user experience.

- Google AdMob: Non-personal information, such as your device type, operating system, geographic location, and ad interactions, may be shared with Google AdMob to deliver personalized and relevant ads.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. Collected data includes transaction details (amount, purchased product, device identifiers) but excludes sensitive banking data. This data is processed in accordance with RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

3.2 Legal Compliance

We place the highest priority on protecting Users’ personal data. - Audio files, transcriptions, translations, and other content generated within Voxcript are primarily stored locally on the User’s device until they are deleted by the User or until the Application is uninstalled.
- Data transmitted occasionally to our technical service providers in order to enable transcription or translation is retained only for the time necessary to process the requested service, subject to the applicable policies of those providers and our legal obligations.
- Data related to in-app purchases or advertising is retained in accordance with the retention policies of the relevant third-party services, including RevenueCat, the App Store, the Play Store, and Google AdMob.
5.5 Anonymized Retention
Some anonymized data, which cannot be used to identify you directly, may be retained for statistical or analytical purposes to improve our services. This data contains no information that could identify you.
